People like Marcel Everett. Recording under the name xxyyxx the Florida artist uses programs he has downloaded, with his initial tracks being placed online for fans to consume.
The results have been staggering. Breakthrough track 'About You' has notched up some eight million views on YouTube with it's Jeff Vash directed video (try it yourself in the player below) while touring commitments have taken the producer around the globe.
