Set in the enchanting environment of the Black Mountains, Green Man Festival is an idyllic gathering of folk, indie and alt-rock favourites and their fellow devotees. The Mountain’s Foot area is the ideal setting to revel in the genre-defying sounds of Beirut and reformed lo-fi legends Neutral Milk Hotel. Take a trip to the Far Out Field, where the Urban Folk Quartet at Chai-Wallahs will stupefy and challenge you – no one can clap a Peruvian hand groove, don’t fret – then dance until dawn at The Far Out Tent. With a rich variety of genres on display, and a wonderfully family friendly atmosphere, it’s easy to see why Green Man has won so many awards in its time.
