Commencing on June 7th, Field Day is back for its eighth action-packed year out on Victoria Park. Drawing together first-class emerging talent (Woman’s Hour, Teleman and SOHN) accompanied by genre-defining goliaths Pixies (playing their only London show) and electro-pop quartet Metronomy. Now extended to a two-day event (due to Eat Your Own Ears's insatiable desire to book the finest acts around) Field Day will be welcoming back Grammy-winning Jamie xx and providing innovative experimental psychedelia courtesy of Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks – while Future Island’s flamboyant Samuel Herring will be throwing some serious shapes.
