There's something special about the Netherlands.
The effect of Caribbean immigration into the country can be felt everywhere, with Dutch music displaying a severe love of bass. Alongside this, too, sits the nation's artistic pedigree – cradle of the Northern Renaissance, it boasts some of the finest art galleries in Europe.
Which is why Motel Mozaïque is so fitting. An arts and culture festival in Rotterdam, it invites more than 3000 fans to soak up a broad cross section of new music. Returning for another instalment, the festival has confirmed performances from the likes of AlunaGeorge, Daughter, Jose James, Young Dreams, John Grant and more.
Kicking off on April 5th, the party continues into the wee small hours of April 7th. A compact, perfectly formed two day event, Motel Mozaïque is beginning to draw attention across Europe.
