These New Puritans like to go for a wander.

Of course, Clash isn't referring to their walking habits - for all we know, the band are a bunch of couch potatoes. Rather, we're referring to the haphazard path their music takes, floating from fixed point to new discovery in a meandering, inspiring fashion.

Recent album 'Field Of Reeds' is continuing to gain plaudits, and will no doubt dominate those pesky End Of Year polls. For now, These New Puritans have opted to extract their third single from the LP, the lengthy 'V (Island Song)'.

Out on November 18th, film maker Picnic has taken charge of visuals. The animated clip presents a narrative inspired by - and running parallel to - the music itself, and was seemingly drawn directly from ideas that singer Jack Barnett had whilst creating the song in the studio.

Watch it now.
