Belligerent psychedelia from the Lancaster duo...

Lancaster underground heroes The Lovely Eggs have shared their new single 'This Decision'.

The band are a key part of the British psychedelic network, a series of collectives, wayward souls, and vital talents spread around the country.

New album 'I Am Moron' is a resolutely DIY affair, a brown acid trip through a scorched vision of British life in 2k20.

Sessions were spread between Lancaster Musicians Co-op and their home, with the full results to be shared later this year.

New song 'This Decision' is the first taster, a full-frontal attack on the greed, avarice, and hyper-consumerism that dominates our daily lives.

A song about the myth of choice in a landscape dominated by 21st century capitalism, it's linked to the biggest fake choice of all - the Brexit vote.

"For the video we wanted something with the pedal to the frigging floor,” explains frontwoman Holly Ross. “The track is pretty intense so we wanted something to match that and to take a pop at the moronic relentless capitalist culture that we're surrounded by these days."

Tune in now.

'I Am Moron' will be released on April 3rd.
