Entrancing new clip from the ever-inventive Bristol artist...
Rachael Dadd

There’s a flamboyant innocence to Rachael Dadd which can’t help but seduce.

It’s there in her delivery – sparkling, free – and it’s there in her songcraft, a deeply English fusion of left field folk tapestries and open, honest lyricism.

The currently Bristolian artist is set to pair up with former Bristolian artist Rozi Plain for a new batch of tour dates. To coincide, these two striking songwriters have pieced together a split seven inch single, donating one new track each.

Clash is able to premiere the video for Rachael’s effort. ‘Strike Our Scythes’ is hugely colourful, with the Bristol artist taking a simple format, a soft arrangement and pushing into ever more imaginative shapes.

The video follows suit. Featuring plenty of wild outfits and outdoor scenes, you can check it out below.
