Brooding, personally-etched songwriting...
October Drift

October Drift like to foster a personal relationship with their fans.

Eschewing social media, the band send out a personally tailored missive to their mailing list.

It follows, then, that October Drift would have a personal edge to their music. The group's second single 'You Are, You Are' will be self-released on May 18th and it's billed as “an optimistic ode to companionship, reflecting how one can become so obsessive and caught up in something that you totally lose yourself in it.”

Mixed by Dan Cox, Clash is able to premiere the lyric video. Opening in dark, fuzzed out shoegaze atmospherics, the track suddenly clicks into gear, transformed into a brooding, Interpol styled monster.

Lyrically introverted yet musically confrontational, it's an intriguing return from a promising group.

Check it out now.
