Manchester group return...
Nine Black Alps

Nine Black Alps can be forgiven for the odd moment of introspection.

Turning ten years old in 2013, the band seemed to look inward, to return to the ethics, the sound, the energy which first propelled them.

Heading into the studio, Nine Black Alps completed work on their fifth studio album in a series of searing recording sessions.

'Candy For The Clowns' will be released on April 21st, with newly minted Leeds imprint Hatch Records supporting the band.

Ahead of this, Nine Black Alps are ready to unveil new single 'Supermarket Clothes' on April 21st. Austerity rock with a string in its tail, the band's riffs have rarely sounded sharper, the drums rarely so feral.

Distinctly British and blessed with a neatly defined sense of purpose, Nine Black Alps are back.

Gawd bless 'em.
