Stunning R&B caught live in the studio...

KStewart has never surrendered the music she loves.

Growing up as an avid fan of R&B and digital soul, she's absorbed these influences, turned them into her musical DNA.

Finally, it seems that the world is ready to listen. Gorgeous vocals matched to wonderfully mature songwriting, she's set to play London's Islington Academy venue on May 24th.

Ahead of this, Clash is able to premiere a special version of her stand out cut 'Be Without You'. Sonically inspired by Amerie’s ‘One Thing’, this version of the track was laid down last year at Sarm studios.

KStewart explains: "'Be Without You' is about going out with someone and not wanting to leave their side because you’re really into that person. The beat is quite sassy and so are the melodies, so I didn’t want the lyrics to be super attitude-y because that would be too full-on – I wanted a little bit of a contrast between the two."

Check it out now.

Catch KStewart at Islington Academy on May 24th.
