Finnish garage rock treats...
Have You Ever Seen The Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS?

Scandinavia has long established a lineage of supreme garage rock.

Brattish punk thrills with just a slice of pop, the Nordic nations seem to specialise in pushing the garage template just that bit forwards.

Finland based newcomers Have You Ever Seen The Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS? are a case in point. Redolent of the 'Nuggets' comp, The Prisoners or even the many escapades of Billy Childish, the band smother their raucous riffs with a Hammond organ swamp.

New cut 'Family Man' is the ideal seven inch single - all killer, no filler, it's an illicit rock thrill and all the better for it.

Clash is able to air the video for 'Family Man'. The three piece say: "The video for 'Family Man' was kind of a montage exercise. Inspired by Smashing Pumpkins' video for their song 'Thirty Three', which has some aesthetic similarities, we wanted to see how we could use a small amount of old home video footage to bring dialectics, irony and subtext to the song's lyrics and mood."
