Chloé Raunet is perhaps best known through her association with cold wave minimalists Battant.
Now working as a solo artist, the singer has chosen the name C.A.R. as the title for her current project.
Lauded by Andrew Weatherall - “pop music from the future haunted by ghosts from the past” - the singer's solo single 'Ten Steps Up' emerged last year via Kill The DJ.
Since then, the debut album from C.A.R. has emerged to widespread acclaim. New EP'Glock'd' is due to be released on March 2nd, with the title cut being drawn from the singer's debut full length.
The EP also boasts remixes from The Asphodells and Manfredas, while the title track features some gritty yet glamorous visuals.
