Mealtime Share Aptly Named Alt-Pop Wonder ‘Sublime’

The video is a surreal, hilarious feast...

Manchester alt-pop six-piece Mealtime have shared their new single 'Sublime'.

The band's daring, often outrageous approach matches surreal future-pop thrills with a mischievious sense of humour.

Describing new single 'Sublime' as a "2007 one-hit-wonder dance banger" they pack all the colours of the rainbow – and a few more – into this three minute jewel.

Daring and provocative, it's a completely independent fabrication, one that follows neatly on from opening gambits 'Denim' and 'Teef'.

An ode to "temptation, excess and the joys of not keeping your conscience clean", it's a frisky return, one that presents Mealtime as a daring pop force.

The video taps into those Millennial reference points, with its Noughties imagery skewering lad-culture tropes while allowing their own outrageous selves to come to the fore.
