Leeds DIY Stalwarts Bilge Pump Share ‘Wheel Of Yew’

New album 'We Love You' emerges next year...

Bilge Pump are stalwarts of Leeds DIY underground, a group who seem to be connected to just about every area of creative flux in the city.

Remarkably, though, it's been almost a decade since their last album – a decade that has witnessed the credit crunch, the age of austerity, Brexit, and Trump.

Time is ripe, then, for a new full, and Bilge Pump are happy to oblige with their new album 'We Love You' set to land on February 15th via Gringo Records (pre-order LINK).

Rollicking new track 'Wheel Of Yew' lands on Clash, and it's a savage, vastly creative return, all PiL sloping bassline and Spacemen 3 guitars.

A squall of beautiful noise, it's an unrelenting return, but in true Bilge Pump style the visuals are a little more relaxed.

Tracing guitarist Joe O'Sullivan as he takes in an Autumnal meander across Otley to Ilkley Moor, he's joined by his dog Dolly.

Tune in now.
