It's been a big week for J Hus.
Once effectively banned from performing in London, he smashed it out the park during a sold out, sweat-dripping Brixton Academy date.
With debut album 'Common Sense' set to dominate those End Of Year polls, J Hus has partnered with FILFURY once more to craft an "iconic status" new video.
Album standout 'Bouff Daddy' has received a glamorous visual, shot in sunny Portugal just as the clouds of winter descend on London.
FILFURY explains: "I was excited to follow up on the 'Common Sense' album cover art I created, with a J HUS X FILFURY video. My desire was to elevate the project and HUS to iconic status, an approach that pushes what is expected and cements HUS as a new creative force. This was a celebration – J HUS in the sun, enjoying the good life, cars, girls, the mandem, saturated hues, vintage Versace, and some FILFURY symmetrical graphic composition work."
J Hus adds: "In my area, bouff means money, so whenever I go back to my area, everyone’s like ‘the bouff man, the bouff Daddy’... A lot of the words I use, people might not know what they mean, so you have to listen to the music to catch on, to work it out. To me, it’s normal, it’s just how we’ve always spoken in East London."
