Happa has shared the powerful new video for his new release 'Only Darkness'.
The producer – real name Samir Alikhanizadeh – aims to release six tracks in 2019, with the second of these online now.
'Only Darkness' is the pivot to recent single 'Only Light', the poignant counterpart to that release's embrace of club culture.
A much more introverted, nuanced experience, 'Only Darkness' featured guest vocals from Shame frontman Charlie Steen.
Friend and collaborator Iniqo steers the clip, and it's a dramatic experience, edited by emerging Bristol based director Max Pearce – previous credits include Hodge, Om Unit, Karen Gwyer.
Cinematic in sweep, it was actually inspired a scene in Equilibrium starring Christian Bale in which figures are blown up with bullets.
Tune in now.
