If You Didn't See Me (Then You Weren't On The Dancefloor)
Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr

Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. don't take themselves seriously.

Which is, of course, a good thing. The world is full of crushing bores, full of leather jacket clad retro rockers and DJs whose ego is only surpassed by their button-pushing wage packet.

It's time for something simply, something which can be accomplished with a wink and a nudge. Debut album 'It's A Corporate World' was an imaginative, at times surreal, survey of the band's influences, fusing folk with hip hop, synth-pop with grunge.

Fun, self-deprecating material which really gets under your skin, a follow up is due to be released later this year. For now, though, fans have new EP 'Patterns'.

Out shortly in the UK, lead track 'If You Didn't See Me (Then You Weren't On The Dancefloor)' caught the imagination thanks to its flamboyant title and vivid energy.

Gaining a lyric video - watch it HERE - the track has now been remixed by Amtrac. Focussing on this bubbling, dancefloor elements, this new take on Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. re-casts them as disco dons.

But then, that's probably how they like it - medallions clasped around their neck, flares draped around their ankles, the two of them preening and strutting like they just don't care.
