Believe it or not, but one of the most progressive, inventive and downright fun dancehall collectives is based… in Glasgow.
Mungo's Hi Fi – named in honour of Glasgow's patron saint – has been rumbling around the streets of Caledonia for some time now, with their good times vibrations echoing around systems across the land.
Using their own imprint Scotch Bonnet as a base, Mungo's Hi Fi have established a global reputation, one that can take them into the upper echelons of the Jamaican dancehall scene.
Forthcoming album 'Serious Time' features numerous collaborations, with the production crew pulling off all manner of stunts. The title cut gets a stand alone release on Monday (May 12th), with Mungo's Hi Fi pairing up against YT.
