Beau are steeped in the inspirational mythology that surrounds New York City.
The duo – still only 21 years old – seem to have been enraptured by walking in the footsteps of the Beats, tracing the punk fall out, and the city's many, varied, and often incredible art movements.
Playing extensively on both sides of the Atlantic, Beau seem to be chasing some eternal dream, one that remains oh-so-close but just out of reach.
Debut album 'That Thing Reality' arrives on March 11th, with Al O'Connell (aka ‘alalal’) stepping in on production duties.
Clash is able to premiere new cut 'Sweet Lips' and it's a brisk, inspiring pop song with some hidden elements. The lyrical word play is a joy to unravel, while that crisp chorus will stay etched in your imagination for weeks.
