'New Friends'

RABBII make darkly delicious pop music.

A Swedish proposition, the duo match glorious pop melodies against lyrics that cut that little bit deeper.

RABBII - it stands for 'Revolutions Are Best Before Initial Inception' doncha know - formed in Stockholm, with members Johanna Berglund and Felix Persson almost immediately locking themselves away to work on new material.

“I just loved to sing and create music,” Johanna says. “It became an escape from a dysfunctional family life.”

Upcoming single 'New Friends' drops on June 17th, and it's an emotive, introduction to the duo's world.

RABBII explain that “the song explores depression, loss, and death. It’s about how you can't ever really escape it or heal, however hard you try."
