RAY BLK knows where's she's at – and she also knows where she's from.
South London born and raised, the rapper has always retained an unrelenting love for her roots.
New cut 'Hood' makes this explicit – it's a love letter to South London, a fierce evocation of a unique area in the capital.
The production comes from Courage, while guest lyrics come from grime's man-of-the-moment (and current Clash cover star) Stormzy.
RAY BLK explains: "This track is an ode to where I’m from, It's a bittersweet song about home. South East is one of the roughest places in London but it rears the strongest people because of that and that's what makes us special."
