'Idol'
FRONTEERS

Hull may well have been named a City Of Culture, but for FRONTEERS it's simply home.

Finding inspiration down backstreets and tattered alleyways, the band's kitchen sink realism is shot through with a downbeat, devoutly Northern sense of humour.

A raucous, delirious live act, FRONTEERS have finally matched to nail that helter-skelter energy in the studio. New single 'Idol' is due on March 11th, and it's scratchy, urgent songwriting recalls those early Arctic Monkeys demos or even The Libertines.

“It’s about when you’ve been over thinking something; sending yourself mad,” explains vocalist Andy Towse. “It’s that voice inside your head telling you to stop but you’re just not hearing it.”
