Track Of The Day 5/6 – Jordy

Jordy is low-key one of the main figures in the evolution of UK rap. Universally respected, he’s able to spit on any beat that comes his way, while impacting that same sense of infectious personality on everything he touches.

Holding down a frontline role on his phenomenally successfully Filthy Fellas football podcast, he’s also renowned as a collaborator. With everyone from Kenny Allstar to Wretch 32 via Ghetts and DJ Target shouting him out, it’s clear that Jordy’s skills are in demand.

Returning to solo duties, new single ‘MORE OR LESS’ is just straight down the line entertainment. A superb lyricist, Jordy seems able to spin on the beat, twisting in and out, moving from flow to flow while bouncing off the production.

It’s more than that, though. He’s building a song as he goes, forever aware of what’s coming next. A bubbly, addictive UK rap roller, ‘MORE OR LESS’ comes equipped with a hilarious new visualiser, one that is bound to put a smile on your face.

In the clip Jordy sits down with PK Humble to discuss what love means to them – zeroing in on the complexities of a relationship, it’s hilariously frank and honest.
