It's fair to say that This Is The Kit have had a great year.

New album 'Bashed Out' has become their most successful to date, winning enormous acclaim in the process. Guy Garvey is a noted advocate of the project, and pushed for their inclusion as one of 6Music’s Albums Of The Year.

Set to play support to Jose Gonzalez on his upcoming European tour, This Is The Kit will open 2016 with a new EP.

'Rusty And Got Dusty' arrives on January 8th, and it's a neat batch of fresh material and the odd cover.

This Is The Kit breeze through 'Les Plus Beaux', originally written by close friends Francois And The Atlas Mountains. It's a cute rendition, more folk-inclined than the original and packed with the band's trademark charm.
