Track Of The Day 29/10 – Roni Size Reprazent

'Last Man Standing' (Live At Colston Hall)

Roni Size has Bristol in his DNA.

The drum 'n' bass legend came of age in the city's soundsystem labyrinth, exposed to everything from hip-hop to reggae to techno in his quest for new sounds.

Recently taking Reprazent back out on the road, the producer did it the only way he knows how – by going home. Now a special Bristol performance from 2009 is set to hit wax. Roni Size Reprazent were invited to help re-open the Colston Hall, accompanied by the composer William Goodchild and The Emerald Ensemble.

A catalogue-spanning set, the night has gone down in bass lore as one of the producer's finest performances. 'Live At Colston Hall' will be released on November 13th, a lavish release to accompany a groundbreaking show.

Clash is able to premiere previously unreleased cut 'Last Man Standing' and it's a storming piece of breaks-laden mayhem. Vast in size, scope and scale, you can tune in below.
