So here's the facts behind Fiction: a London five piece, the group's debut album 'The Big Other' was released recently to no small degree of acclaim.
Artfully produced post-punk with a pop slant, it recalled (early) Orange Juice or even Talking Heads in its witty splendour.
Now the band have completed work on a fresh EP, with new EP 'Instant Memories' set to arrive on June 1st.
Clash is able to premiere 'Best Before' and it's a delight. Splendidly English in that eccentric, XTC-style manner, the track flits and flutters past, using a choir sample as an intro/outro.
