Stella Rose has tasted blood, and now she’s in for the kill.
The NYC based multi-hyphenate is already the subject of immense hype, word of mouth spreading feverish reports about her live performances. Venomous and potent, Stella Rose blends different disciplines – she’s a poet, alongside a musician – to achieve dramatic impact.
Signed to KRO Records, ‘Muddled Man’ is her starting point. A vivid opening gambit, it puts us in mind of Nadine Shah, a vivacious bulldozer of a song that blends near industrial level percussion with a nigh-on unhinged vocal.
Passionate and dissolute, ‘Muddle Man’ recalls Nick Cave at his Biblical best: “Cowboy killers in the left jacket pocket,” she sings, “A murder of your most precious possession…”
Out now, ‘Muddled Man’ comes equipped with a truly extraordinary video; shot by Primordialfreaks, the incredible, eye-catching costumes were constructed by Skye Clark.
Tune in now.
