Delta Sleep have always had enormous promise.
A seismic live band, their energy watch matched to complex, inventive songwriting which nonetheless had an emotional core. Continuing to refine and define their sound, though, the Brighton band appear to have hit upon something special.
New album 'Twin Galaxies' will be released on May 25th via the heroes at Big Scary Monsters, and it's an imposing return. Clash is able to premiere new track 'Lake Sprinkle Sprankle' and there's a clear love of invention running through the band's music.
A direct, emotive return, frontman Devin Yüceil laments: “Lately I’ve listed the reasons why I can’t move on and why I sleep in the house that we lived in for over three years now. Staring at paintings, recounting the places we’ve been together, I tried to escape but I can’t seem to shake all these pictures of us”.
