'Confetti (Bosco Delrey remix)'
Benjamin Biolay

French pop is an odd beast.

In keeping with some of the nation's curious quirks, French radio is bound to play a majority ratio of homegrown artists. At times making the country's music scene frustratingly insular - backward, even - it can also spawn some unique talents.

Benjamin Biolay is certainly unique. Already a star in his home country, the songwriter's breathy, half spoken vocals have an illicit feel which transcends the language barrier.

Gaining a cult following beyond the French borders, Benjamin Biolay is set to release his new album 'Vengeance' next week (May 6th). Containing a raft of guest appearances, the full length will be accompanied by Biolay's first headline show on British soil.

Alongside this, Benjamin Biolay has lined up a new remix EP. 'Vengeance Remix EP' is out now, and features the singer being re-worked by a number of guest producers, including Team Ghost and TEPR, and Mad Decent signee, Bosco Delrey.

The sole non-electronic talent on Mad Decent, Bosco Delrey adds a rockabilly flourish to the track - which also features the patiently seductive vocals of Julia Stone.

Listen to it now.
