Track Of The Day 25/11 – Tamera

'Insensitive'

Tamera doesn’t miss. Starting 2022 as one of the UK’s standout R&B newcomers, she’s expanded her sound, absorbing fresh aspects in the process.

The Gravesend artist challenges herself at every turn, and she closes out the year with an absorbing new single. Summer smash ‘Wickedest’ bolstered her name still further, and Tamera takes this sweltering energy into winter on her new single.

Out now, ‘Insensitive’ lifts some afrobeats rhythms, blending this production sheen with her soulful R&B stance. A superb return, the track is rooted in pure feeling, with the lyrics discussing an intimate situation within Tamera’s own life.

Catchy as hell, there’s a sense of hidden depth to Tamera’s work, with ‘Insensitive’ rippling with pure feeling. She comments…

’Insensitive’ was written about a relationship that I value greatly.

Although I’ve dealt with trust issues in the past and found it hard to fully open up to a partner, the person I’m referring to in the song has really done the work to make me comfortable enough to fully open up and flourish in the relationship and for someone who has always found this difficult it has become the greatest pleasure to return that same love in tenfold. That is the inspiration behind ‘Insensitive’.

A stunning assertion of her creativity, you can check out ‘Insensitive’ below.
