All songs emerge in different ways. Some pop out fully formed, almost in the time it takes to grab a taxi. Other take months of careful work, hours of sweat and perspiration.

IRAH swapped their native Denmark for Berlin recently, taking a pile of ideas across the German border.

Constructing a vast, hour-long improvisatory piece, the trio then began to shrink it down, to remove the fat and leave the flesh. 'Mirroring' is the result.

The perpetually flowing rhythms have a jazz tinge, while the dramatic, otherworldly vocals recall Kate Bush in her pop prime. IRAH explain:

IRAH explain: “The lyrics is about self reflection, especially the idea that the things you choose to believe about yourself somehow will manifest in your consciousness, and become your reality. Which makes you the creator of your own life.”
