Squares
Sea Change

Sea Change represents something of a break with the past, a line in the sand – a statement of ambition, even.

A project helmed by Norwegian artist Ellen W Sundes, Sea Change is born from a mesh of equipment, a host of ideas and a clearly defined aesthetic.

Crystalline, fragmented and utterly beautiful, her gently emotive electronics are under-pinned by a powerful pop sensibility.

Live shows are developing into something special, with Sea Change delivering her debut album 'Breakage' this week.

As a special surprise for fans, Clash is able to bring you the video for 'Squares'. The complete package, Ellen is aware that her visual identity can amplify the meanings latent within her music.

Directed by Marie Hjelmerud, the clip contrasts beautiful twilight landscapes with geometric patterns which form a full human face before collapsing away.

Check it out now.

Catch Sea Change at London venue the Sebright Arms on February 27th.
