Patti Yang makes electronic music heaps of soul.
Based in London, the singer has been working with Martina-Topley Bird – perhaps Tricky's ultimate muse – on fresh material.
Continually moving forward, Patti Yang's music has a glacial groove, a sense of control that recalls those early Massive Attack cuts but with an atmosphere all of her own.
Spitting her time between London and Joshua Tree, her UK roots and the desert psychedelia of California, the singer is close to sealing off sessions on her new album.
For now, Clash is able to air new cut 'Anonymous Face'. Digital soul allied to a true intensity, you can check it out below.
