Given our penchant for all things psych, Clash were recently invited to catch a brand new group from London.
Steeped in all things lysergic, the band used bona fide 60s kit for their visuals, an entrancing display of psychedelia which deftly fused vintage and modern eras.
The group were Antimatter People. Progressing slowly, surely, the newcomers have deftly side-stepped the hype, building a devoted fanbase who swarm to each show, resplendent in bowl cuts, paisley patterns and pointed shoes.
New single 'No Need To Be So Small' should see them break out. All swirling synth lines, gorgeous guitars and vocals which seem to sigh themselves into oblivion, this is sheer psych heaven from start to finish.
Building on their live show, Antimatter People demonstrate a newfound confidence in the studio, allowing their music to break through to another dimension.
