New Orleans is a harbour town, a place where cultures criss-cross, producing new styles, ideas, processes.

GIVERS have roots in New Orleans, and their artful, idea-laden synth pop couldn't have found a more suitable home.

The Glassnote-signed trio will give their second album 'New Kingdom' a full British release on April 8th, and you're in for something pretty special.

Off kilter song structures, rolling harmonies and driving percussion lead GIVERS down their own, exotic path, each song seeming to obey its own whims and appetites.

Clash is able to premiere lead cut 'Bermuda' and it's a wonderfully flavoursome piece of otherworldly pop music. Akin to those early Yeasayer cuts or even the way Dirty Projectors re-fashioned pop in their own image, 'Bermuda' is blessed with incredible imagination and for that we should be thankful.

Tune in now.
