'On The Motorway'
Bill Wells, Aidan Moffat

Bill Wells and Aidan Moffat first paired up back in 2003, but it took until 2012 for the duo to release a full, collaborative album.

Scooping the inaugural SAY Award, 'Everything's Getting Older' was by turns warm and moving, challenging and effortlessly easy on the ear.

Follow up record 'The Most Important Place In The World' arrives on March 16th, finding the pair shifting their pre-occupations to notions of the city as a femme fatale, as the source of inspiration and bedevilment.

Released via Chemikal Underground, Clash is able to provide an intoxicating preview. 'On The Motorway' features a deft, jazz-tinged arrangement from Bill Wells, acting as a gauzy backdrop to Moffat's monologue.

Opening in the middle of a tedious motorway journey, it somehow manages to reference life, love, sexuality and Grease.
