Track Of The Day 18/3 – TONES

'Here On After'

TONES formed at high school, bored by the monotonous routine of rigid education and sterile suburban life.

Letting music act as a vessel for their frustrations, their anger, the four-piece started played to friends, passers by and whoever was in ear shot.

Punk-edged indie rock songwriting with a real sense of drama and fury, TONES are now ready to deliver new single 'Here On After'.

The vocals cut like broken glass, while the unrelenting drums and fuzzed bass leer out of the speakers – think those early Wolf Alice or Spring King demos turned up to the max and you'd be close.

Sayeth the band: “Youth should be free and not be told by a government who they are and what they need. The machine is trying to make us all into clones but we need to take a step up and shape the future for ourselves”.

Tune in now.
