Already one of the most provocative talents in British electronic music, Nathan Fake recently took another step to re-affirm his independence.
Working with Wesley Matsell, the twin production gurus are set to launch new imprint Cambria Instruments. Dedicated to new and breaking talent, the imprint is gearing up to be a vital addition to the landscape of British music.
Intrigued, Clash have arranged for a special label showcase in the heart of East London. Taking place tomorrow night (September 18th) it finds Nathan Fake and Wesley Matsell unveiling their renewed aesthetic vision.
Ahead of this, Clash invites you to get stuck into 'Vanish North'. Released earlier this year on Bleep's 'Bleep:10' compilation – buy it HERE – it's a colourful introduction to the producer's ever-evolving world.
Opening with the fluorescent rush of synthesised noise, 'Vanish North' then collapses into a percussive scrum, all jagged edges, crushed beats and splintered snares.
Epic without being overblown, explore the immense subtleties of Nathan Fake's work below.
