Seasons may come, seasons may go but a Marshall amp turned up full is still going to attract the crowd. Returning from two years of near silence, Exit Calm are in love with the toxic, leather jacket clad, motorcycle fuelled spirit of rock 'n' roll.
All feedback driven power chords, sunglasses at night and sneering vocals, the band's material is a true statement of intent. Attracting the attention of Todd Eckhart, the producer had the following to say: “Pure Genius – the assembly of iron and wood because temples must be made. And the avoidance of all that whiny, sexless bullshit passing for rebellion at the moment".
The band themselves aren't going to hold back. Adrenaline fuelled, psychopathic dirges work on the band's second album is well under way.
As a special preview, Exit Calm have handed new single 'The Rapture' to ClashMusic. Set to be available on limited edition seven inch vinyl, this is blown out psychedelia, bad vibes and breakbeats.
