Shy Nature owe their origins to all corners of the UK.
Hailing from Liverpool, Glasgow and Maidstone, it wasn't until the group settled in North London that things seemed to accelerate.
Releasing their self-titled debut EP earlier this year, Shy Nature demonstrated a knack for huge choruses which came draped in enormous potential.
Playing a short batch of tour dates, the band sparked a scramble for their signature. Opting to pair up with Jen Long's always-on-the-money Kissability imprint, new single 'Lie Back' drops on February 17th.
Before then, though, Shy Nature have teamed up with Clash to premiere a new festive track. 'It's Christmas (Close Your Eyes)' is blissfully romantic, the tale of finding our true love under the mistletoe.
Of course, deep down we know it probably won't happen but there's something in the songwriting, in the impassioned way those verses click by which bring out the Yuletide innocence in us all.
