As the old saying goes, an artist has their entire life to focus on their debut album and about 18 months to complete a follow up.
Well, in the case of Aitor Etxebarria that's undoubtedly true. Under his El_Txef_A moniker, the producer has spent the past few years piecing together a superlative inducing reputation, releasing material on labels such Permanent Vacation, Suol or Pets Recordings.
Locking himself away in the studio, El_Txef_A released debut album 'Slow Dancing In A Burning Room' to widespread acclaim in 2012.
Now, the producer has completed a follow up.'We Walked Home Together' is due to be released on May 26th via his own label Fiakun, with lead track 'The Love We Lost' already gaining attention.
A shadow filled, left field production, El_Txef_A is joined by DFA mainstay Woolfy on guest vocals. Pitched somewhere between The xx and Berghain techno, it's a beautiful return from the Basque talent.
