Sarah Lipstate's heady adventures into the musical slipstream took another twist earlier this year.
Returning to her Noveller moniker, the guitar unveiled 'Fantastic Planet' a record which was, well, pretty fantastic. Packed with vivid colour and imagination, it fused definition statement with enticing allusion.
Confirming plans for a full European tour, Noveller has now handed the video for album standout 'Pulse Point' to Clash. Directed by Matt Kleiner, it matches the guitarist's music to footage of Australia's stunning coastline – literally pairing waves of sound to the ocean's endless roar.
Noveller: "The 'Pulse Point' music video is my third collaboration with filmmaker Matt Kleiner. We were first in touch in 2011 when we struck up a deal for Matt to give me unused raw footage that I could edit into a music video for my song 'Ends' in exchange for letting him use some Noveller music in his surfing documentary 'Way Of The Ocean: Australia'. This beautiful video for 'Pulse Point' is the result of a similar bargain, though this time Matt created the video himself using new footage of Australia's stunning coast."
