Track Of The Day 11/3 – RONiiA

'Love Me'

RONiiA de-construct pop songs, in order to put them back together again in vital, and often bizarre, new ways.

A trio, each member boasts huge experience: Nona Marie Invie (Dark Dark Dark, Anonymous Choir), Mark McGee (Marijuana Deathsquads, To Kill A Petty Bourgeoisie) and Fletcher Barnhill (Fugitive, Joint Custody) unite, entering exploratory climes in the process.

New EP 'Sisters' is due to be released on March 25th via Totally Gross National Product, and it's approach is akin to post-punk groups such as ESG, Young Marble Giants or even Le tigre.

Clash is able to premiere 'Love Me' and it's an exhilarating, contradictory ride. The low end recalls dub excursions, but the brittle high tones continually threaten to disrupt.

Check it out now.

'Sisters' will be released on March 25th.
