What a difference a year makes.
12 months ago, Adio Merchant was departing from Kid British, vowing to try something different. With 2013 now reaching its final lap, the producer is rightly earning acclaim for his re-invention as Bipolar Sunshine.
Hazy R&B textures with a British heart, Bipolar Sunshine is rapidly flowering into something quite special. New EP 'Drowning Butterflies' emerges today (November 11th) and boasts a poetic flair from Merchant, something direct but also quite moving.
Lead single 'Love More Worry Less' has already been placed online, with Bipolar Sunshine's pop immediacy being matched against an awareness of the slings and arrows which beset everyday life.
As a special preview, Clash is able to bring you new cut 'Trouble' before any other site. A burst of summer energy for the darkening months, it finds Adio Marchant being drawn helplessly towards the wrong girl.
