Texan group Ringo Deathstarr like to move quickly.
The shoegaze outfit tend to run on feeling, to use instinct to decide their next move. For new album 'Pure Mood' though, the band decided to do something quite different.
Out on November 20th, it finds Ringo Deathstarr poring over each note, spending hours, days, and weeks probing the sounds they create.
The band explain: "We have never spent as much time on any album before, but it was only a few hours a day maybe 3 times a week...sometimes less. Waiting for the album to be released is the hardest part because we are ready to get out there and show it to the world!"
New single 'Guilt' is one of the first signs fans have had on where their heads are at. The blissful vocals are matched against highly developed guitar noise, the layers of sound building up into something beautifully imposing.
