Track Of The Day 10/7 – They Hate Change

'stunt (when I see u)'

Tampa, Florida project They Hate Change create music with a rare sense of freedom. A duo – Dre and Vonne – who are intimately in-tune with one another’s impulses and instincts, they’re able to blend disparate sonic influences into something wholly unique.

2022’s ‘Finally, New’ became a breakout moment of sorts, with their production palette crossing the Atlantic. Splicing together underground hip-hop elements with UKG, the directness in their work carried an unmistakable pop aspect.

Taking time out, They Hate Change embrace the future on riveting new single ‘stunt (when I see us)’. A sign of what’s to come, it breaks with the past, fully embracing the unknown.

Resetting the dials, They Hate Change take their previous work and blast it out into the future, engaging with daring new aspects. The pair comment…

“This track is our mantra in a way. A reminder to ourselves to show what we are capable of when others seem to doubt or discredit things we’ve done. We’re going to continue to do what we do and that’s CHANGE!’
