Track Of The Day 10/1 – Master Peace

'Veronica'

Master Peace sits in his own lane. An artist who grabs from indie, punk, grime, and beyond, the London artist is a true original, speaking from the heart.

New EP ‘Peace Of Mind’ is out on February 24th, and it could be his most direct, open, and contagious project yet. Take new single ‘Veronica’ – a blast of energy, it surges into fresh arenas, the rollercoaster indie-punk framework dominated by that leering vocal.

It’s a flirtatious ode to attraction, with Master Peace leading from the front. The loping bass-line and helter-skelter drums are pure indie disco, while the unruly vocal taps into an unrestrained lust for life.

Master Peace comments…

“‘Veronica’ is a youthful record that captures the feeling of young love and the exciting feeling that comes with new situations. It’s flirty fun with a-bit of tongue & cheek if you get what I mean…”

Looking to his new EP, Master Peace adds: ““”I feel like I’ve always been scared to really say what I want or what I really feel. Now I’m gonna say what I want, and everybody can take it how they want to take it.”
