Could this be Kid Canaveral's year?
The band have had an odd little stop-start career, before debut album 'Shouting At Wildlife' seemed to find them settling down. Touring across the UK and beyond, Kid Canaveral were forced to act as a band – in terms of performing, writing and of course living together in the back of a van.
It seems to have paid off. New album 'Now That You Are A Dancer' is packed with confidence, with Kid Canaveral seemingly relishing the prospect of being able to work on new material.
Delightful indie pop in the manner that only Scotland seems able to produce, the album drops on Monday (March 4th). Ahead of this, Kid Canaveral unveiled lead single 'The Wrench' which matched a rattling, roaring rhythm with a chorus which packs a real punch.
