Guns N Roses have added an extra tour date after selling out their forthcoming show at the O2 Arena.
Guns N Roses remain one of the most volatile groups on the planet. More than 20 years after the release of ‘Appetite For Destruction’ the band are still falling out with the press, critics and each other.
Confirming details of their first UK tour in some time, Guns N Roses sent British fans into overdrive. Due to headline Reading and Leeds at the weekend, the band recently suffered at the hands of a cruel hoaxer.
Axl Rose had his Twitter account hacked, with an announcement sent out apologising for cancelling all upcoming shows. The organisers of Reading and Leeds stepped in, confirming that the band would play.
With excitement reaching fever pitch, Guns N Roses have added an extra British tour date. The band confirmed a series of shows earlier this year, including a performance at the O2 Arena on October 13th.
Quickly selling out, the rock icons have been forced to add an extra London date to cope with demand. Guns N Roses are due to play a second show at the O2 Arena on October 14th, with tickets set to go on sale from Friday (August 27th).
Meanwhile, support performances have been confirmed from Sebastian Bach. The former Skid Row singer now works solo, recently releasing his third album ‘Angel Down’. Axl Rose appeared on three tracks, while Bach re-paid the favour by adding backing vocals to ‘Chinese Democracy’.
Tickets are still available for the remaining dates. Guns N Roses are due to perform in Birmingham on October 17th, with the rock icons set to appear at the LG Arena. The short tour comes to a close in Manchester’s MEN Arena on October 18th, marking the end of the band’s first UK jaunt in over a decade.
Guns N Roses are set to play the following shows:
