Gold Celeste Launch Second LP, Share Psych Jammer ‘Future Days’

New album 'The Gentle Maverick' lands on October 4th...

Norway's Gold Celeste will release new album 'The Gentle Maverick' on October 4th.

The band's debut album was a delicious fusion of shoegaze and psych-pop, with some stellar songwriting on show.

Able to conjure effortless pop scenes, Gold Celeste have taken their time perfecting the follow up, releasing a steady string of excellent singles.

New album 'The Gentle Maverick' is finished, however, and it will be released on October 4th.

Clash favourites, we're keen to hear the full LP – so we're delighted to be able to share a fresh preview.

'Future Days' is a buoyant psych-pop jammer that taps into summer's fading energy, with its delicious melodies emerging into a fantastic chorus.

Irresistibly contagious, 'Future Days' (the band explain) "was made as an invitation, like one of those jolly musical cards, to that event where your mind goes still and your presence cuts it’s ties to the tiring treadmill of repetitive thought."

Gold Celeste add: "If that was too much to take in, just listen and it will update your firmware in the background."

Tune in now.

'The Gentle Maverick' will be released on October 4th.
